Rule 109
Conduct to be followed by the dignitary
The dignitary shall follow the following conduct:
(a) Conduct befitting of one's service or position.
(b) Should be present at the office regularly at the time fixed by the Secretariat and should not be absent from the office without taking leave approval.
(c) He should follow his duties with honesty and readiness while being disciplined.
(d) Should not participate in politics.
(e) Should not make public speeches or publish statements under his real or fictitious name, which is contrary to the policy of the Legislature-Parliament and Government of Nepal. However, there will be no hindrance to publish or broadcast the article as long as it does not conflict with the existing law and the policy of the Legislature-Parliament and the Government of Nepal.
(f) Any secret or information prohibited by law that comes to the knowledge during the performance of duties shall not be given or disclosed to unauthorized persons or the press or other bodies.
(g) No company shall be established and operated and shall not engage in business.
(h) Should not participate in the election for any political position or ask for votes on behalf of anyone or have any kind of influence.
(i) Do not engage in any kind of demonstration, strike, lock-in and siege.
(j) You should not represent yourself or your family on behalf of any other person or group except to make a request to the relevant body or authority by yourself or your heirs.
(k) While carrying responsibility in the secretariat, one should behave politely towards everyone.
